Urea is an ingredient used in skin-care that has essentially been un-promoted in dermatology offices. Our task was to build new patient interest in urea as well as to encourage physicians to prescribe products containing urea. I designed a new brand identity to visually communicate this selling proposition. My goal was to demonstrate that a new urea-based product had an improved formula, turning the sharp urea crystals into elegant soft drops of cream. The new brand Identity and marketing collateral helped first year sales exceed expectations by two thirds.
